Live event photo-sharing platform. Co-founder and backend lead — engineered dual payment routing between Paystack and Flutterwave using a factory pattern, HMAC-verified webhooks, idempotent transaction handling, and a Scrimage-based image processing pipeline. Used at live events with zero downtime.
Arafi
Payment logic-as-a-service, built on Nomba rails. Pitched live at Hackaholics (Wema Bank, Kano) — full Spring Boot + Kafka + Next.js architecture already spec'd and partly built, currently behind a waitlist while the core is finished.
Ara
An event OS for the African market, built around vendor accountability — closing the trust gap between event planners and vendors. Currently in private beta while the core product is validated.
Koder.quest
A gamified web development learning platform for kids aged 10–16. AI tutor "Kira," mascot "Astro," and a full production-ready curriculum already written — platform hierarchy and architecture are locked, build is underway.
Build log
Led system architecture and backend API development for a mission-critical SME inventory management platform. Directed a team of three developers, owning technical direction, database design, and code reviews.
Engineered the user interface, registration workflow and admin portal for the International Youth Conference Abuja, coordinating check-ins and attendee analytics for over 1,000 participants.
Led a team of 4 developers architecting a distributed microservices system. Built a notification microservice for email/SMS, maintaining 100% uptime through evaluation.
Engineered an automated workflow reducing administrative overhead by 30%. Built dynamic Power BI dashboards for real-time KPI tracking, bridging technical and business stakeholders.
Contributing to the Stellar ecosystem by building and documenting projects (Gaddaa, a crypto-to-fiat bridge, and Lancer) to keep the blockchain ecosystem active and supported within the local developer community.

I'm a self-taught backend engineer based in Nigeria. Java and Spring Boot are my home base, and I've since picked up NestJS for contract roles building enterprise applications. Outside of client work, I build my own products end to end: MyMemori is live and processing real images at real events; Ara, Arafi, and Koder.quest are further back but moving.
Before backend engineering became the solid plan, I was teaching. I taught at a secondary school where I taught Science subjects to students. I found it easy to explain complex concepts in a simple and understandable way, and I've carried that instinct into tech through volunteer instruction: teaching data analysis under 3MTT (a federal government tech-skilling initiative), and teaching Python, data science, and web development as part of Colab KD's talent pipeline programs. I care about shipping things that work under real conditions — not demos, production. And I'm building toward founding and scaling tech-related products out of Nigeria, not just working inside them.
